Saravana Bhavan, @Bangsar, KL
This restaurant is part of the popular Saravana Bhawan brand based out of Chennai, and is spread across the world. The quality of the food particularly south Indian dishes is par excellence.
Love the Indian veg fare here especially their lunch sets or the thosai or poori. food is freshly prepared. ordered the Rava Dosa, Aloo Gobi and the cheese cottage with butter masala. the lassi and masala tea is also superb. Staff is friendly and service is OK. It is a good place for vegetarian food. It is a 100% vegetarian outlet. Must eat paper roast masala dosa, it was tasty, large in size and was very filling, it came with 3 different chutney and sambar. The idlis soaked in ghee and sambhar are delicious. Please give it a visit to relish not-so-expensive Indian food in Malaysia. Parking can be a problem .
Must visit place. Highly recommended.
Anjappar,
Indian Chettinad Restaurant @Brickfields, KL
Team FCBA earlier reviewed their Dubai outlet also.
The restaurant is exceedingly clean and comfy, having branches worldwide, serving a good spread of South Indian veg & non veg food (primarily Chettinad cuisine).
The food is typically on the spicy side but that is a characteristic of Chettinad food. The service is pleasant enough. The welcome is warm and friendly and the service is rapid… it has to be as there is a constant flow of customers. Anjappar special chicken is certainly worth trying if you can handle its spiciness. Authentic, delicious dishes with fabulous variety. Not to be missed.
Must visit place. Highly recommended.
