Not up to the mark…..

Team FCBA reviewed Holiday Inn’s much talked about Italian restaurant ‘Bella Italia’, in May 2016 and the food was extra ordinary delicious and truly authentic Italian. It was indeed , one of the best Italian restaurant. Keeping in that mind Team FCBA visited and reviewed VIVA, all day dining restaurant, for Buffet Lunch.

It was a poor show all the way from soups to starters to main course to desserts. On top of it the staff looked very tired; disinterested in the service and kitchen staff looked and behaved like naive in the trade.

The food was cold and service was pathetic. To highlight few; the the portion size of ‘nalli nihari’ was like small bite size and gravy, very watery. The chef who was handling the tandoor for breads, even doesn’t know how to make ‘mirchi ka parantha’ and layers were missing. The bake fish dish was watery and Baida paratha was (mutton) cold and full of atta.
The pakoda in the Karhi pakoda was very hard.The ‘gajar ka halwa’ was without any khoya or dry fruit, meant for diet conscious diners. Overall it was very disappointing. Many local restaurants serve better food with much greater variety of dishes.
