Team FCBA was fortunate enough to be invited to METRO GRILL, an open air barbeque & grill restaurant, recently. Credit goes to the F&B team for this innovative ‘I Do Barbecue ‘ which is synonym to DIY (Do it Yourself) and winters in Delhi has been the perfect time to , enjoy this concept of dining.
At the Metro Grill, they have these shops, from where you buy your selection of meats or veggies, then select your marinates or rubs, and then they set up a barbecue grill for you, which comes with all the necessary equipment and spices, oil, utensils etc. One can choose the accompaniments and dips as per liking from a variety of offerings. You are also given necessary assistance you could need to barbecue for yourself. The staff is extremely friendly, takes care of minutest details and makes you feel very comfortable. The pricing of various cuts are very pocket friendly, unlike of other 5 star hotel’s restaurants.
Apart from Barbeque, they also offer a Lazy Menu, for those who do not want to indulge in this process of Barbequing. The lazy menu includes some pre decided food combinations and have quite a few options to choose from, not only in Indian, but Continental, Italian and other Cuisines as well.
Best Barbeque combinations are:
1 Assorted Garden Vegetable: marinated with garlic sauce and rubs five spicwes.
2 Fish fillet & steaks: marinated with tandoori masala & rubs with haldi, chilli & pepper.
3 Chicken breast/ fillet: marinated with curried spices and barbeque sauce.
4 Chicken sausages’: marinated with salsa sauce and rubs with Cajun.
Off the Grill
1 New Delhi Tandoori Pizza, topped with cottage cheese; bell peppers and chicken.
2 Murgh Awadhi Pulao: Dum chicken biryani, served with raita.
