One of the best place for the lovers of Japanese and Korean food, in Delhi. Everything about this place is quite remarkable, right from greetings from the restaurant hostess to ambiance; food; presentation; was superb, worthy of an international standard restaurant. Akira Back is located in JW Marriott Aerocity. JW Marriott Aerocity is hardly 5 minutes away from the airport and is one of the best in the vicinity.
Recently visited their Japanese restaurant Akira Back. It is named after the famous Chef with the same name. He was born in Korea and raised in Aspen, Colorado, Chef Back brings a sense of adventure and boundless creativity to his culinary creations. Following the success of Kumi Japanese Restaurant + Bar at Mandalay Bay and the famed Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge at Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, he opened Akira Back New Delhi and Akira Back Jakarta in 2014, featuring his inventive and enticing menus that embody classic Japanese cuisine..
Just incredible… food, ambiance and service. One of the finest dining experience of eating sushi in India. What amazing food! This place hands down serves the best sushi in town! Being an avid fan of Japanese food, I have literally tried every single Japanese restaurant in the city, and although there are a quite a few impressive ones but this one is going to be my absolute favorite one.
My favorite dishes are:
1) Nori cracker with kimchee compote and micro cilantro
2)Rack shrimp with spicy yuzu aioli
3)Tuna pizza with sliced black truffles and truffle oil
4) White fish carppaccio with amazu ponzu
5) Chicken tacos with spicy ponzu sauce
6) Vegetables tempura with shitake soy dashi
