The Song of India
@ 33 Scotts Road, SINGAPORE
During my Food Trail of Singapore, I got the requests from all over the globe to visit and review this restaurant. It is said to be the one of the best Indian restaurant, where they have taken refined Indian cuisines to another level. Located within a classic monochrome heritage bungalow amongst beautiful landscaped greenery. Its excellently designed interior and exterior provides a luxurious ambience suitable for special occasions. The bungalow set-up and the classy ambience of this restaurant reflects a high end charm to the overall setting and sets the tone for the evening.
With their elaborately pieced set course menus paired with wine and finely plated dishes, you will be wowed by Chef Mural’s unique modern interpretations of traditional Indian cuisine.
The taste of the restaurant’s signature dishes is excellent. The tandoor lobster for starters is delicious, mouth watering and highligy recommended. The regular vegetarian fares of Palak Paneer is decent with a special mention of the Hyderabadi Mirch Ka Salon which was quite unique in taste and flavour. Apart from this, many other dishes are the high points of my dinner at “The Song of India” (The enclosed pics, say it all)
Special thanks: Chef Mural, Singapore’s best Chef
Chef Dutt, and Restaurant Manager Veer Singh.
Highly recommended
