Al Fresco
@Hotel RAMADA,  Amritsar

During our recent food trail to Amritsar, India, we decided to check the AL FRESCO Restaurant in RAMADA HOTEL, Town Hall, Amritsar. Initially we were very skeptical to review this restaurant as there were no known visitors, in the social media, visiting this restaurant. Hence this was more than challenge to visit and review Al Fresco, as we have in house policy to check lesser known restaurants and promote them , if there food is worth mentioning.  As you all know Amritsar is foodies paradise and forced to visit only old restaurants again and again and there is no efforts by the so called food critics to present new world class food joints/ restaurants to the them.
Al Fresco is beautifully designed restaurant inside the world famous chain of hotels, RAMADA. We decided to go in for La Carte, instead of their popular buffet. The starters were excellent and even the bite into chicken malai tikka, showed the real class and taste. Wow. After that it was magical culinary journey.  It was fine example good food; nice ambiance; great hospitality and warmth of each staff. Each dish presented to us, was full of subtle flavors, highlighting the taste of each dish, Excellent.  Executive Chef Subhash Zende, is the magician with food and expert in presenting Indian/ any other cuisine in a very subtle flavors but big in taste. This restaurant is going to be a major hit soon.

Special thanks to Mr. Mungeshwar Kumar, the Asst. Sales Manager, of the hotel, for his great hospitality and taking time from his busy schedule to sit along with us, during our review.
Above all, sincere thanks to Ms. Meera, the head of the hotel, for running the hotel, successfully and  majestically. She is the perfect person to lead any International chain of hotels. Thorough professional. We are going to review RAMADA HOTEL, Amritsar soon.
